The Brahmasthanam temple and the Yagnashala wore a festive look on February 20 2012, as devotees thronged to participate in the Mahashivaratri festival and partake of Lord Shiva’s blessings. The evening program commenced with the Mahamrityunjaya Homam at 5.30 pm with the chanting of the Guru Stotram, the Guru Paduka Stotram and the Guru Ashtakam in obeisance to Lord Shiva, the Primordial Guru .
