On Saturday, November 17, a Sarvaishwarya Puja was conducted at the Vishwakarma Hall, Vasai, a suburb located 50 km north of Mumbai. A good number of the predominantly Marathi-speaking locals participated in the Puja.
The Puja which included a Bhagawati Seva performed by Br.Snehachandran, commenced at 6.30 pm. Br. Avyayamrita Chaitanya, head of the Mumbai Ashram centre, then addressed the gathering. In his address, Swamiji extolled the virtues of great devotees of Lord Krishna such as Arjuna, the Gopis, Radha, Mirabai and others. Amma says each one of us has a hotline to God, but the quality of the line depends on the intensity of our prayer. God is ever willing to pour His Infinite grace into each of us, depending on the ‘vessel’ one has to receive it.The talk was followed by a guided meditation session. As the Puja progressed, the Ashtothram and the Lalita Ashtothara were chanted by devotees participating in the Vilakku Puja. A couple of soulful bhajans set the tone for contemplation as everyone joined in. The Puja concluded with the Mahishasura Mardini Stothram and the Maha Arati after which Mahaprasad was served to everyone.
