It is a festive fervour in the city of Mumbai with rather not only Maharashtrians but all communities ushering the blessings of the Lord and bringing <em>Ganesha <\/em>to their homes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-353\" title=\"ganesh1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amma.org.in\/mumbai\/files\/2010\/09\/ganesh1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chanting of <em>slokas<\/em>, sporting the familiar Maharashtrian traditional caps besides wearing <em>tilaks <\/em>on the forehead, it is unbounded excitement all the way filled with hopes of prosperity in each one\u2019s mind.The simplest <em>avatar<\/em>, the no-frills <em>ukdiche modak<\/em> remains most popular with devotees.
