The day coincided with the Bhagvad Gita Jayanti. At 4 p.m., the entourage was warmly received at the Math by Br.Avyayamrita Chaitanya and Amma\u2019s followers from all parts of the city.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-987 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amma.org.in\/mumbai\/files\/2015\/12\/welcome.jpg\" alt=\"welcome\" width=\"320\" height=\"214\" \/><br \/>\nThe Chinmaya Jyoti, the auspicious lamp and the sacred Paduka (sandals) of Swami Chinmayananda were brought into the prayer hall and placed on the stage. Swami Medhajananda and Br.Ved Chaitanya of the Chinmaya Mission, and Br. Avyayamrita Chaitanya, addressed the gathering.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-988 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amma.org.in\/mumbai\/files\/2015\/12\/speech.jpg\" alt=\"speech\" width=\"320\" height=\"214\" \/><br \/>\nThe talk session was followed by the chanting of the Ashtotthram. Honoring the day as Gita Dinam, Chapter 15 of the Bhagvad Gita was also chanted.
