On 15th July, Amma’s children from all around Pune, came together to celebrate the very important and sacred occasion of Guru Poornima.<\/p>\n

The day began with Guru Paduka Pooja by Swami\u00a0 Vidyamritananda amidst the chanting of Guru Stotra. It was followed by the Ashtottara and discourse by Swamiji who spoke amogst other topics on the importance of the Satguru and surrender that a Shishya should or can develop.<\/p>\n

It was followed by Paduka Pooja by devotees.Cultural programmes were presented by students of Amrita Vidyalayam and devotees. A few devotees shared their experiences with Amma which moved many of the listeners,<\/p>\n

Later, Raincoats and umbrellas were distributed to 40 children from an orphanage. Fruits were distributed to 200 patients at the YCM hospital in Nehrunagar, Pimpri.<\/p>\n

Soulful Bhajans reverberated in the Ashram in the evening, following which there was Mahaprasad.<\/p>\n
