There is a flurry of activity in the Nerul Ashram premises as inmates and volunteer devotees work together making hectic arrangements augmenting Amma’s visit on 7th and 8th of January after a gap of almost two years. While the painting and cleaning of the Ashram happens in full swing, women devotees are engaged in making Prasad, packets of sacred ash and upholstering the rooms to accommodate members of Amma’s entourage.

The entire Ashram is gearing up intensely as the D-day draws nearer and nearer. The dais where Amma will receive Her children is being done up appropriately, the Brahmasthanam being given finishing touches, invites are being sent out, flyers distributed, the pandals housing the various stalls erected, puja registrations being done, banners put up at strategic points across the city. The air is charged with tension, anxiety and stress, nevertheless there is also the overwhelming feeling of ecstasy and longing to have one Darshan of our beloved Amma!
