Students enliven World Peace Day

More than 500 students from seven schools participated in the Peace March organised in Nigdi by the Ashram, on September 21, United Nations World Peace Day. Students raised slogans of Peace and marched for a distance of around 3 kms in the heart of the town, spreading the message of World Peace.

Elocution competitions in in Marathi and English were also organised in the Ashram on the topic – Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, in which students from 38 schools took part. Prizes were distributed on WPD by MLA Anna Bansode and Shri Pramod Shinde, Trustee of Manashakti.

Students also took an oath to practice and preach the way of Peace.
