Amrita Santwanam, the scheme to help needy, abandoned and destitutes, was launched in Pune on Sunday, 6th December 2009. The scheme currently benefits 20 people.

The first packets, containing Rice, Wheat and Dal, for a month, were distributed by Brni. Pavanamrita Chaitanya and Br. Vijayan at the Ashram. PK Rajesh, Balagopal, Nilesh and Sriram were the volunteers who helped put the day’s program together.
